Hello world! My name is Djibril, and I am a technologist experienced in wearing multiple hats: as a photographer, writer, and designer.

Photographer
Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. As a self-taught photographer, I have always experimented with different techniques to create unique and captivating photographs. Whilst digital photography has its advantages, my approach involves film as a medium because it allows me to fully immerse myself in the art of photography.
Writer
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m often tapping away on my keyboard. As a technologist, I enjoy writing engaging and informative content about various tools and software. I create in-depth user guides and how-to guides, explaining and teaching others through a variety of well-crafted media, including blogs, news articles, social media, and marketing materials.
Designer
I believe that every brand has a unique story to tell. As a graphic designer, my task is to bring that story to life by crafting distinctive and memorable branding solutions. I work closely with clients of different sizes to create logos and branding strategies that represent their values and mission, resonate with their audience, and help them stand out.
Career
Working experience.
Throughout my creative career, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of fields. This has helped me feed my curious mind, stay challenged, and develop a can-do attitude. Although I started as a designer, I am now a Tech Support Lead. Who knows where this journey will take me next?
Past
As a self-taught designer, I have spent over six years helping agencies and smaller clients translate their complex ideas into creative, simple, and functional solutions across various platforms. My primary focus has been on logo and identity design, photography, and website development.
Present
For the past three years, I have been a part of Sufio, the invoicing app that Shopify merchants worldwide love. During my time with the team, I have worn multiple hats, but I am currently leading our Technical Support Team.
Personal projects
When out of the office.
When I’m not absorbing the light of my computer screen, you can find me drinking coffee, reading a book, rearranging the house (yet again), creating new solutions in Notion, or designing postcards.

I still remember the day when I got my hands on a Praktica MTL5B at the age of 14. That’s when my love for film photography began, and I started experimenting with different shooting techniques and developing my own rolls. But as I delved deeper into this world, I realised that reliable information and reference material in Slovak were scarce. So, I took matters into my own hands and created the Fotímnafilm.sk blog – the first film photography blog in Slovakia.
Today, Fotímnafilm.sk serves as my digital journal of an analog photographer. Through my blog, I share my passion for film photography, document my journey, and provide useful tips and tricks to help others get the most out of their analogue cameras.
Notion Slovensko
As a Notion Ambassador, I am part of a group of passionate volunteers dedicated to teaching and sharing the benefits of Notion with others. In my role, I have the privilege of leading Notion Slovensko, a local community that brings together like-minded people in Slovakia who share a passion for Notion.
My main focus as a leader is organising events and meetups for the community, providing a great opportunity for Notion enthusiasts to connect, share knowledge, and learn new tips and tricks. Through these events, we create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and empowered to learn and grow.
